We are growing our logistics support team for JUSTIN! While JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery is located in the Paso Robles region of California's Central Coast, our logistics office is in Tucson, AZ. This Operations Supervisor will office in Tucson, but visit Paso Robles often.  

At JUSTIN, Safety, Quality, Service and Cost are our key imperatives. We are looking for that detail oriented strong leader who has a passion for the wine business. In this hybrid (M,T,W in office & TH, F work from home) role the Operations 3PL KPI Performance Supervisor will support a Gold Standard service culture, ensuring that each of our operations efficiently delivers every order, every day, and on time with excellent customer service.

• Lead, design, and deliver analysis-driven, actionable supply chain network and distribution center projects.
• Coordinate Shipping out of Bottled Wine
• Invoice Processing
• Design KPI models and use optimization techniques to answer strategic operational questions and perform material flow designs using Operations Research and Discrete Event Simulation techniques (NET OPS).
• Responsible for managing supply chain engineering, Operations Excellence, Six Sigma, Environment Health &Safety and other continuous improvement projects in JUSTIN Distribution centers.
• Proactively analyze Quality & Operations performance data and perform research on latest optimization techniques and supply chain technologies for driving projects to move Wine distribution centers into a best in the class model.
• Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet cost objectives. 
• Participate in Annual Operating plan as well maintaining financial processes that ensure we achieve the goals. Forecasting, trend analysis, gap analysis, best practice sharing
• Establish clear performance and behavioral expectations for all 3PLs & employees
• Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Manage Daily and Club Shipment fulfillment orders

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
• Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously
• Working knowledge of quality systems, finance, capital planning, and project cost tracking and forecasting, economic justification analysis, statistical process control, and manufacturing management systems
• Must be very effective working in a complex environment and work with a sense of urgency that drives effective results
• High levels of analytical and financial skills, ability to use data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and accurately assess financial impacts
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
• Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
• High level of proficiency in Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook.
• ERP experience in warehouse management.
• JD Edwards experience
