We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Paid Search Manager. This role demands a detail-oriented individual to work across our full portfolio of brands. This role reports to the Associate Director, Growth Marketing, serves as a key team member on the digital strategy team, and will be the voice at the table for their brands. This person will drive the in-platform paid search strategy, optimization and overall campaign management for their brands. This role requires strong platform knowledge to develop strategic and creative recommendations, flawless execution of initiatives to reach brand objectives, confidence to debate budget allocations across the paid media team and when presenting to key groups, a collaborative spirit to coordinate across departments/business units and a mindset of continuous improvement through testing and learning to ensure continued growth across the company.

The Wonderful Agency is looking for a SEM expert to lead the way in driving growth for some of The Wonderful Company’s biggest brands. This expert will successfully strategize, optimize and scale Paid Search campaigns for TWC’s eCommerce and membership driven business models. *Please note that we will be working a hybrid schedule (Monday - Wednesday in our West Los Angeles office and Thursday and Friday remote).

Job Description

Media Management & Strategy:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of all paid search and shopping campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising platforms, ensuring campaigns are set-up with best practices and optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage daily campaign activities for paid search, including bid management, budget allocation, shopping feeds, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, and campaign expansion.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing & Client teams to identify and understand business needs, campaign performance objectives, and opportunities to grow the relationship.
  • Generate ideas and manage tests/experiments to improve paid search performance including campaign strategy, keyword research, creative, landing page optimization, and bidding.
  • Collaborate internally to improve our user-level tracking, CRO, attribution modeling, and new projects as they come.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing Team to increase DTC/ eCommerce business through Display Programmatic, Native, & Social Efforts.

Research & Analytics:

  • Closely monitor, measure and report on campaign performance, budgeting, and conduct analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis.
  • Manage marketing spend to ensure budgets are optimized & spent accordingly without under/over-delivery while reaching target KPI goals (ROAS, CPO, CPC, etc.).
  • Monitor and share industry news, online marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team insights.
  • Become thought leader for search & communicate KPIs, trends, insights, and challenges across the organization.

Creative:

  • Develop assets to test new ad copy, creative, and landing pages on an evergreen basis to improve ad relevance and customer experience to lift conversion rate.
  • Conduct keyword research; ensure ad copy is created and implemented according to best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of SEM/PPC in growth, performance and/or digital marketing; ideally in CPG/e-Commerce/DTC environments.
  • In Platform Experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, etc.
  • Bonus Platform Experience: Experience with SA360, SEO, Amazon, Programmatic Display/Native Partners, Social.
  • Experience pulling and analyzing campaign data and synthesizing into actionable insights.
  • Ability to dig into data and trends; acronyms like ROAS, CPA, CAC, LTV, CTR, CVR, and CPM are like a second language to you.
  • Experience planning and launching A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to multiple task and prioritize efficiently.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude.Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Brand, Creative, Consumer & Media teams.
  •  A track record of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
