JUSTIN is seeking a Leadership Development Associate (LDA) to join the team! JUSTIN is an award-wining winery and fine dining establishment in Paso Robles. The Leadership Development Associate Internship is a 9 month rotational program, where you can learn and support all divisions of Hospitality across JUSTIN. The program will require work in all departments, both physical and administrative work. Departments include: Tasting Room, Restaurant, Inn, Concierge, Purchasing, Logistics, Administration, Sales, Farmstead, Virtual Tastings, Education, Culinary, Retail and more. Each department will invest time to train the LDA so as to gain maximum exposure to all aspects of the JUSTIN Hospitality Business. Each departmental area will be assigned in blocks of time lasting 2 weeks to 3 months. A capstone project will be undertaken (with guidance of their manager) during the 9-month time – one designed to either increase efficiency or guest experience. This will be presented to senior leadership.

At the end of the program, successful candidates may choose their department of choice to take up full time employment. Should a Supervisory position exist in the structure of the department, then the candidate will be brought in at a Supervisor level or above.

• Support all aspects Hospitality in accordance with Forbes 5-star service standards
• Deliver superior customer service, upholding over 99.5% Customer Satisfaction
• Move, stock, inventory and sell wine as directed
• Design and build out a business case for a new initiative within Hospitality (a capstone project) including building out the ROI, Investment, training guidelines and present to Senior Leadership
• Assist all departments as directed with administrative duties, shadowing each role, or taking on/filling in for vacant positions
• Promotes the wine programs and dinner experiences.
• Support all on-property offerings including private events.
• Complete all educational coursework

• Company sponsored travel to Sonoma (Landmark Vineyards) may be required on occasion throughout the internship
• Service environment experience and has knowledge of luxury standards
• Must hold or be eligible Bachelor’s Degree with focus or desire to go into the Hospitality field
• Strong organizational skills, customer service, restaurant, and educational experience required
• Demonstrated strong ability to work well under pressure
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
