    To support our florist members, Teleflora has developed a technology platform to provide website and online products.  We are currently seeking an eFlorist Technician to create and support the florist website and ensure we are driving traffic to their website. The primary function of this position is to act as the front line contact to provide website assistance and excellent customer service. Each interaction with our consumers should be used to reinforce Teleflora's commitment to superior customer care as well as reflecting technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

    Due to Covid-19, Teleflora employees currently work from home. You will need to have a quiet, home office area with reliable internet coverage and will be provided with equipment. Working from home is temporary and employees will return to the office at a later time this year.

    Job Description

    • Communicate via phone, email and chat directly with our member florists to create a website for their flower shop, helping the florist select the website template, load artwork and custom images, scan and register URLs
    • Provide excellent customer service skills to support and meet the requests needs of our florists
    • Assist in communicating changes and updates to the program to Teleflora Staff
    • Provide guidance for basic search engine optimization, marketing through social media, online marketing and branding

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience creating and designing web sites and graphic design skills
    • Ability to grasp technical concepts and to communicate these concepts in a manner that florists can understand them
    • Ability to write code in HTML and CSS format is a plus!
    • Strong written, verbal, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential
    • Familiarity and experience with the Internet and websites required
    • Basic knowledge of MS-Word, Excel and Outlook required, HTML, CSS experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Photoshop preferred
    • Basic knowledge of search engine optimization, marketing through social media, online marketing and branding
    • Display a desire to achieve and attain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction
    • Prior floral shop or related industry experience preferred
    • Demonstrate technical aptitude and enthusiasm in various system technologies and disciplines
    • Strong time management skills and able to meet stringent deadlines
    • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
