Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Wonderful Education's College Success program brings academic, socio-emotional, career, and financial support to college students who want to pursue post-secondary college and career success. Wonderful Education seeks a College Programs Coordinator who will support college, community, and career readiness activities across multiple colleges and  to support Wonderful Education high school students and their post-secondary goals. The ideal candidate has a passion for education and the desire to create opportunities for Central Valley students. You will work tirelessly, side-by-side with students and families, in a fast-paced environment to help them get into and succeed through college and career.

This position is based out of the Delano, CA region with potential daily travel to schools and communities throughout the San Joaquin Valley.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

College Program Supports

·        Coordinator will own and manage Scholar and parent data in Salesforce for program and communications needs

·        Support program expenses via company credit cards and monitor program costs to budget

·        Support supplemental engagement and academic services for Wonderful Education students, including but not limited to virtual and in-person events

·        Support planning and logistics for large, in-person events (summer camps, program retreats, etc.)

  • Liaise with marketing and communications team, support with special projects including special events

Scheduling, Travel and Meeting Logistics

  • Manage high-volume calendar for the College Success team, including scheduling department meetings, training and event reminders
  • Support with agenda creation and note taking; timely follow-up of action items. Assist in preparing meeting materials (printing and collating handouts, presentations etc.)
  • Support travel and itineraries for program staff for team events and needs
  • Process expense reports for program Directors as assigned

Office Management Duties

  • Make copies and scan documents for filing digitally and/or physically for Wonderful Education staff
  • Support with program data entry and record keeping
  • Check mail, order and stock water and snacks for Wonderful Education team space in Citrus offices
  • Other duties as assigned

Data Management

·        Leverage Salesforce and other company-approved platforms for scholar, family and partner information management

·        Liaise with Wonderful Education data team and regularly use the system to answer simple team data inquiries, run reports, and assist with maintaining accurate records.

·        Provide timely data and case management report to Wonderful Education and program leadership

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a demanding administrative level role in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable switching gears at a moment's notice while maintaining laser-focus
  • A positive, flexible, and thoughtful team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves; can-do attitude

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent a plus
  • A track record of interacting with executives with the utmost professionalism and poise
  • Ability to work in diverse team environment
  • Can work independently while taking the initiative to ask for guidance if needed
  • Maturity in handling sensitive and confidential situations or information
