Job Description

Overview:

Individual will assist in maintaining Parts Room Inventory, Issuing, Receiving, Stocking and Parts Delivery.

Here's what you'll do:

 

  • Ensures self and coworkers are compliant with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Accurately maintain the Inventory Control System through cycles counts, check-in and checkout procedures and creating daily reports.
  • Collaborate and Interface with all customers and vendors through face-to-face, telephone, email and radio communications with professionalism.
  • Receive, unpack, check, ship and track shipments of parts and supplies.
  • Sort and organize items with material code, part description and location.
  • Issue stocked items from inventory to customers and work orders for Kitting.
  • Drive Forklift, Golf Cart and Company Truck to make needed deliveries.
  • Basic knowledge of parts (Tools, Bearings, Motors, etc.).
  • Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Database management).
  • Identify and execute improvements on documentation, work systems, and processes.

  •  Tolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection.

  • Moving mechanical parts
  • Heights
  • Rapidly flashing lights
  • Low visibility areas
