Job Description

Overview:

This position requires mechanical/electrical knowledge and ability to plan and schedule maintenance activities. In depth understanding of CMMS System, resources, material planning and excellent communication skills are required. Responsible for maintaining production equipment availability and performance at satisfactory levels through the planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting of repair activities. Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes. The Planner/Scheduler works closely with Maintenance Management to ensure that all customers receive timely, efficient, and quality service.

Here's what you'll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating and leading the daily work order approval meetings.
  • Planning all corrective work and creating the planned maintenance schedule.
  • Responsible for creating, updating, validating preventive/predictive maintenance plans on all assigned assets.
  • Determining resource requirements to complete work and assign tasks to specific resources. Interaction with departments to obtain resources may be required.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed
  • Participating in planned maintenance downtime periods in support of the maintenance team, and assisting with problem solving, work prioritization and resource re-allocation.
  • Rescheduling incomplete work to the next planned maintenance downtime period and capture all required information in the CMMS.
  • Reviewing, prioritizing, and organizing backlog.
  • Conducting analysis on maintenance data to identify failure modes and recommend root cause failure analysis.

Qualifications

  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 6 months of administrative work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
  • Able to take direction well and work with minimal supervision
