Job Description

Overview:

The Operations Assistant is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of Import documentation processing, facility inventory management and shipping. They will carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and any applicable laws. 

Here's what you'll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with business partners and manage information flow.
  • Capture and analyze data
  • Timely collection of relevant information from source documentation
  • Converting information to prescribed format for uploading into the system.
  • Monitoring data flow to ensure timely process execution
  • Input Purchase orders or system transfers
  • Working in Warehouse Management System
    • Exporting data to compile daily reports
    • Inventory management which could include stock movement and production orders
    • Transfers between various system facilities
    • Daily Communication regarding Quality Control and Order Management

  • The position requires precision and is very detail oriented.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Must work with fellow co-workers and promote a teamwork environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office knowledge, experience with Oracle or Logfire (Warehouse Management System) program desired.
  • Proficient in Excel with experience in Power Query and VBA a plus
  • Basic business mathematical skills, to include but not limited to: concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to multi-task and be comfortable in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
