The Role:

Teleflora has an immediate opening for a Data Warehouse Architect.  We are looking for a technically savvy, highly motivated, entrepreneurial, strategic thinker. This position will lead the development, implementation, and deployment of reports and dashboards.  The Architect will assist in providing critical reporting technical solutions on various projects for the company.
 
This position is also responsible for taking a lead role in driving high-level BI solution directions; perform proof-of-concepts; report creation and distribution; documentation and presentation of BI standards and guidelines; assist in logical and physical data model design, design and development of ETL processes. Additionally, this person is responsible for analyzing customer requirements as well as identifying and implementing strategies. This is a hands-on technical leadership individual contributor role.

A Day in the Life at Teleflora:

• Responsible for the conception, design, development, and deployment of data architecture and data models
• Provide leadership for the architectural direction, and provide consultation to agile teams
• Work together with various business units to develop data warehouse platform vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Follow various ETL Processes to prepare design for all metadata
• Responsible for the development of physical and logical data models
• Ensure high-performance access to diverse data sources
• Enforce architectural constraints and reject designs which compromise system integrity
• Encourage the adoption of an organization’s frameworks by providing documentation, training, sample code, and developer support
• Communicate progress on the adoption and effectiveness of the developed frameworks to department head and managers
• Participate in research, requirements definition, planning, design and execution of projects on enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives
• Manage customer expectations to ensure strong customer satisfaction by meeting the business needs for IT systems in a timely manner
• Performance tuning and enforcing repository best practices
• Collaborate with business areas and data owners to successfully implement and maintain an enterprise level business analytics and data warehousing solution
• Develop front-end, metadata and ETL specification to support business requirements for reporting across the organization
• Modify Security as per the business needs
• Deploy Code migration method and manage release control
• Make configuration changes to improve performance

Your Contribution to Teleflora:

• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
• At least 5 years in BI/DWH with variety of platforms and industries
• Strong operational experience with Oracle and Google Cloud Platform
• At least 5 years of Data Warehousing Experience
• Experience with ERP integration
• Business processes or knowledge/experience of developing BI solutions for enterprise process.
• SME in Industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools
• Well versed with Linux operating system and should be comfortable in writing shell script
• Working knowledge of modeling tools in addition to hands-on experience with BI tools

Due to Covid-19, Teleflora employees currently work from home. You will need to have a quiet, home office area with reliable internet coverage and will be provided with equipment. Working from home is temporary and employees will return to the office in Oklahoma City at a later time in 2022.
