Job Description

The Role:

As a seasonal agent for Teleflora, you will work in our local office during our busiest seasons, acting as a front-line contact for our customers: consumers or florists.

  • Due to Covid-19, this position will be working from home temporarily. You'll need to have a strong internet connection (No satellite or Hughesnet). Your internet speed must be 5 Mbps. You can take a speed test by visiting www.speedtest.net. There will come a time when the company will resume working in the office. This is not a permanent work from home position.

Here's what you will do. Positions include:

24 Hour Flowers

24 Hour Flowers is Teleflora's support program for our member florists. As an employee, your main responsibility is to receive incoming calls and enter orders or messages on behalf of our member shops when they are closed or have their phone lines transferred to us.

Outlaw Sales and Service

Outlaw is Teleflora's primary system where orders are tracked and sent to our member florists for delivery. As an employee, your main responsibility is to receive incoming calls and enter orders into the system; or provide assistance with existing orders to identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns.

Fulfillment and Order Call Out

As an employee, your combined responsibilities are to research and resolve credit card declines, customer complaints, holds (need second choice, alternate delivery date, etc.) or in the event our system could not automatically place an order with a member shop, call shops directly to get the order placed. One would make outgoing calls to consumers and/or florists.

Floral Support Help Desk

As an employee, your main responsibility is to take calls from our member flower shops. The shops call this department when they have a question about an order Teleflora has sent them.

Qualifications

Your contribution to Teleflora:

  • COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated voice using good diction and grammar
  • Ability to clearly communicate a product’s features and benefits
  • Ability to make decisions with little direction
  • Strong attention to detail including but not limited to accurate spelling and appropriate abbreviations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Basic math skills (ability to calculate figures and amounts)
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills (accuracy is a must) 

 

Working Conditions and Environment:

  • Must be capable of working extended hours to meet company peaks. Schedules may vary on a weekly basis
  • Holiday time off will be prohibited due to increased order volume
  • Function comfortably in a performance-based environment with calls that are monitored, recorded and assessed.
  • Meet/exceed the daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicator goals
  • Excellent customer service skills, active listener with the ability to pay attention to detail and willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Good typing and data entry skills, basic computer knowledge and the ability to navigate between multiple browser windows
  • Dependable and self-sufficient
  • Additional duties as needed

Additional Information

Due to Covid-19, Teleflora employees currently work from home. You will need to have a quiet, home office area with reliable internet coverage and will be provided with equipment. Working from home is temporary and employees will return to the office in Oklahoma City at a later time this year.
