This position fills in for the Tasting Room Manager and Assistant Manager as needed. This position plays a role in daily tasting room activities including: positive customer interactions, meeting daily revenue goals, meeting Wine Society signup goals, customer service, and positive interaction with employees from other departments (hospitality, marketing, wine society, production, etc.).

A Day In The Life at JUSTIN:

• Assists the Tasting Room Manager achieve or exceed financial goals including:
  • Tasting Room wine sales
  • Wine Society signup goals
  • IR Goals
• Resolves guest concerns/complaints using good judgment and tact.
• Gives direction to staff and delegates responsibility as needed.
• Facilitates and promotes good communication between all departments (Hospitality, Marketing, Wine Society, Accounting, Production, Housekeeping, etc.).
• Proactively communicates tasting room concerns to Tasting Room Assistant Manager and Tasting Room Managers.
• Opens and closes the Estate or Downtown Tasting Rooms as needed, complete closing reporting, and communicate concerns to the Assistant Tasting Room Manager and Tasting Room Managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Contribution to JUSTIN:

• LVL 1 Sommelier certification through any applicable wine professional organization
• Excellent attendance
• Proven success working with others.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels
• Must be well versed in systems.
• Ability to establish direction, obtain commitment and execute appropriate management processes
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
