The Women's Health Institute, office of Dr. Sara Bernstein, is located on the Wellington Regional Medical Center campus and has been in business since 2004.  Dr. Bernstein has been practicing in Wellington, FL since 2002.  We have a very busy practice and provide many in-office procedures to our patients.  This includes Novasure, Essure, Myosure, Nexplanon, Hysteroscopy, Leeps, etc.

 

In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Bernstein is also the medical director of Rejuvia MedSpa, which is located on-site (next door).

Job Description

Basic Responsibilities include:

• Patient intake (history and vital signs)

• Patient callback (lab results, prescription requests, general questions, …)

• Prescription call-in

• Ordering, processing, preparation, & monitoring of labs (phlebotomy, injections, review of lab status, …)

• Exam room maintenance (setup, breakdown, cleaning, restocking, etc.)

• Instrument cleaning and sterilization

• Assisting physician(s) and other practitioners during exams and procedures

• Independent procedures (eg: staple removal, injections, urodynamics, etc.)

• Insurance verification

• Surgical scheduling and coordination

• Patient correspondence (reminders, lab results, etc.)

• Patient scheduling and check-in & out

• General filing and chart maintenance

• Answer basic questions about aesthetic products and services

• Help cover other positions in the office when needed

• Other medical and office tasks as needed

Qualifications

Requirements for Applicants:

• Prior Ob/Gyn office experience

• Highly presentable with excellent customer service skills and positive attitude; self motivated, flexible and enthusiastic

• Available and willing to work weekdays (depending on day, as early as 8am and as late as 6:30pm - or last patient is finished)

• Must demonstrate good computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to interact with EMR (Athena Clinicals), lab, insurance and other web portals.

• Must exhibit professional telephone etiquette

• Must be able to work independently/unsupervised as well as in a team environment

• Must possess sound judgment skills

• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal/communications skills

• Must be extremely reliable with high degree of integrity
