  • Manage and prioritise issues and enhancements through Jira.
  • Coordinate and support system testing
  • Key HCM administration, configuration and bulk data loads.
  • Partner with HR and Payroll to turn their needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Identify and drive improvements to systems, processes and employee experience.
  • Partner with our technology and support partners to deliver against priorities, resolve blockers and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to projects and new HCM capability across areas such as Talent, Learning, Compensation, reporting and analytics.

The current role also plays an active part in managing Payroll/HCM integration improvements, testing and release decisions, demonstrating the level of ownership and problem solving involved.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a role that mixes people, process, data and technology and someone who likes to get into the detail, ask the right questions and find solutions.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong experience with enterprise HRIS/HCM platforms, ideally Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • A good understanding of HR systems, processes and data.
  • Experience investigating and resolving or coordinating complex systems and/or integration issues.
  • Experience with system configuration, testing, UAT and regression testing.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Confidence working with vendors, technical specialists and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to juggle BAU, projects and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to simplify technical concept for users

A curious mindset with a proactive and improvement-focused attitude.

Additional Information

Why you'll love this role:

This is more than a traditional systems support role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we use HR technology across one of New Zealand’s largest employers and work across a broad and evolving HR systems landscape.

There’s plenty happening on our roadmap, so you’ll get exposure to both the complexity of a large-scale HR environment and the opportunity to introduce new capability and continuously improve the experience for our teams.

If you’re passionate about HR technology, enjoy untangling complex problems and want the opportunity to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
