Job Description
We are seeking a Store Operations Lead – Noel Leeming to join our Support Office team.
This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for leading the central retail operations function and enabling consistent execution across 66 Noel Leeming stores nationwide. The role partners closely with field leadership, store teams and support office functions to translate business priorities into simple, effective and sustainable ways of working.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead Noel Leeming’s Retail Operations function, coaching and developing a specialist team.
- Drive operational excellence through consistent standards, routines and ways of working.
- Partner with regional and store leaders to lift operational discipline, consistency and accountability across 66 stores.
- Lead the operational delivery of business initiatives, change programmes and cross-functional projects.
- Use insight, performance data and stakeholder feedback to make practical recommendations and drive measurable improvement.
- Own communications, governance and policy execution across the store network.
- Simplify processes, improve productivity and enhance team and customer experiences.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve performance.
Qualifications
This role will suit an experienced retail, operations or multi-site leader who has operated in a complex, fast-paced environment and understands how to turn strategy into execution. You will be credible with senior stakeholders and frontline leaders, confident working through ambiguity, and able to bring structure, clarity and momentum to operational priorities.
Success will be measured by your ability to improve store execution, lift productivity, simplify processes and create the conditions for store leaders and teams to perform at their best.

- Proven experience in retail operations, multi-site leadership, operational excellence.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong understanding of store operations, operating rhythms, communications, process improvement and change execution.
- Track record of improving operational performance, productivity and customer outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Pragmatic, resilient and execution-focused leadership style, with the confidence to operate strategically and hands-on when required.
