Job Description
Are you a dynamic self-starter looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, creative environment? Our Category Specialists play a pivotal role in supporting our merchandise team, driving day-to-day operations, and assisting Buyers across a diverse range of categories. From design-led apparel and on-trend homewares to innovative tech, everyday groceries, and outdoor living essentials, no two days are ever the same!
As a key point of contact for suppliers, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring products make it from concept to customer with precision and flair.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating product orders – placing, tracking, raising purchase orders, and managing barcodes with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining detailed product data and imagery to the highest standard
- Managing supplier invoices and ensuring seamless information flow
- Assisting in planning advertising and promotional activities
- Monitoring sales results and preparing insightful reports
- Providing additional systems and administrative support across the team
- Playing a vital role in customer-focused events (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, etc.) by managing samples and following critical timelines
Qualifications
With lots of opportunities to learn in real-time and develop your skills, you’re a real self-starter who takes ownership of your work, thrives when working at the fast pace of retail and can collaborate with internal teams and build relationships with external suppliers. No two days are the same! You’re an active problem-solver, curious in nature and drive to find solutions.
Organisation, prioritisation and time management skills are your key strengths as you work efficiently to juggle priorities, manage workload and deliver to strict deadlines with ease! You will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, have a high attention to detail and robust organisational skills.
