Job Description
Position Objective
A brand-new position reporting to the E-Commerce Marketing Manager, the Brand and NPD Manager is responsible for leading product innovation for TheMarket to achieve strong customer and commercial outcomes. This is a pivotal role to support our ambition to have more of our first party product range driven by compelling and distinctive private label brands. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, ambitious and dynamic, and will thrive on innovation and positive business change.
Responsibilities
- Leads the strategic development and product launches for all private label brand ranges; working alongside Compliance, Buying, Graphics and our Manufacturing partners.
- Execute product launches on time and in full; working with the the product marketing team to ensure we have brand-centric packaging, high quality product images, and compelling product descriptions.
- Develop and maintain a product development library.
- Ensure consistency of product construction and leverage style options to maximise customer appeal.
- Ensure the New Product Coordinator, Photographer and Graphics team are executing the go-to-market plan within agreed timescales and adhere to brand creative direction.
- Work alongside the demand planners and data teams to understand broader trends, leveraging these in our design and development processes.
- Continuously review processes and technologies to ensure we’re maximising efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage the New Product Coordinator, and collectively ensure all new first-party products are launched onto the marketplace at the desired standard and timescale.
Qualifications
Desired Experience
- Marketing experience, coupled with proven Project Management skills
- Business degree or related industry experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative and entrepreneurial
- Ability to influence others to achieve goals
- Highly organized and deadline driven
- Adept at Excel and experience in Adobe Photoshop & XD preferred but not essential
- Thrives under pressure
- Natural relationship builder, with a professional, positive and proactive manner
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
