Job Description

This opportunity suits a well-seasoned, senior marketer who is happy to step away from a traditional “leading a team” structure to embrace our agile model. Someone who thrives in fast pace, loves being ‘hands on’ whilst maintaining the ability to think and plan strategically.

Working in a squad/tribe you will work with a high degree of autonomy, sharing your skillset and knowledge, coupled with the remit to support and consult across other mission tribes within the business.  This is a role where you will be the brand guardian, across our multiple brands.   You will champion the planning and strategy, along with questioning everything we do from a customer stance.

This position is one of our most senior across the Marketing Chapter and would suit someone with a fabulous mindset and a real strength to deliver.

Allocated to a squad (and reporting into a respective Chapter Lead), you will work closely with the research and data team members to identify customer insights and opportunities that can lead into building the most effective and inspiring campaigns - to support our business objectives and in turn advocate brand loyalty from our customers.  You will work effectively with our agency partners and inhouse resources to take a strategic view ensuring the ideation, creation and delivery of engaging, integrated customer experiences across paid, earned and owned channels.  Your ability to think big picture and connect the dots, coupled with your customer centric approach and ability to influence stakeholders and bring them on the journey will sum up success. 

Qualifications

A natural communicator and influencer, the business will rely on your extensive and well-rounded marketing expertise.  This role involves working cross functionally and with external partners, so we are looking for a true collaborator whom excels at relationship management, building credibility and trust quicky and inspiring colleagues.  Educating, influencing, negotiating, presenting and wrangling stakeholders form part of your DNA. Your strategic thinking skillset will complement your high emotional intelligence, commercial agility and pragmatic work approach.

  • A combination of senior marketing experience as well as agency (or senior experience in leading external agency partners)
