Job Description

Reporting into the Logistics HR Lead and based at distribution center in Rolleston,  your day-to-day will see you provide excellent HR support across the full HR spectrum through partnering with People Managers across the Logistics environment. The HRBP is a trusted position and works on immediate and medium-term objectives for the business.

There is a real appetite for this individual to bring fresh eyes to the HR function, assisting in transform HR within our South Island DC - fixing manual processes, supporting change, lifting engagement and implementing best practices. 

Drawing on your toolkit of skills and experience you will:

  • Provide expert coaching and advice to build and sustain People Managers’ capability and ensure People policy and processes are applied/delivered consistently across the Group
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues, working collaboratively in a unionised environment.
  • Assist the business in delivering strategies to build organisational performance and capability of their teams.
  • Manage and deliver change and business realignments
  • Work closely with management and team members to improve working relationships, build engagement, increase productivity and safety

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a generalist HR advisory role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Solid knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practice
  • Strong Problem solver
