Job Description

We now have a great opportunity for an experienced sales leader with significant experience in the Government sector to lead the team of Business Development Managers to leverage existing and harness future opportunities as the new Government Sector Head.

This position reports to the National Sales Lead - TWGB and will work closely with the wider commercial team, Regional Managers and key stakeholders within the Government sector. Your primary responsibility will be to drive a high performance culture. You will coach & mentor your team of Government specialists to identify, develop and grow new revenue streams and source commercial sales for the retail network within the Government sector.

The Sector Head is responsible overall for managing business relationships from a day-to-day perspective to ensure that sales are maximised and account relationships are maintained. It is imperative that you maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively manage current client relationships.

Qualifications

We are looking for an active Sales Manager who has a passion for success and who shows a commitment to their team and the business. The pace of this role is fast and complex dealing with multiple brands and stakeholders, therefore, to truly succeed in this role, you will need to be highly resilient and have both excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Innate leadership abilities are essential, and through your extensive leadership experience; you will be required to manage the complexities & changes of a high-performance environment, all while driving the wider team engagement.
