Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic mid-level UX designer to join The Warehouse Group’s growing retail team. This team is responsible for delivering The Warehouse leading retail digital experiences.

You will be working in an agile team that’s at the edge of innovation, helping The Warehouse Group push the boundaries towards a retail digital future that Kiwis love.
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple of our brands (The Warehouse, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7 and Warehouse Stationery) and across channels as we seek to find opportunities to unlock the power of mobile in a retail landscape that is omnichannel.


You’ll be expected to support product, implementation and trading team activities with User Research, Service Design, UX Design, User Testing, Planning & Measuring Experiments.


To excel in this role the right candidate needs experience in supporting an omni-channel shopping journey with digital as the enabler. This experience will enable you to align customer goals towards business outcomes and how to utilise digital technology in each customer touch point to improve the shopping experience for our customers. 

You must be a natural communicator who knows how to speak to customers and stakeholders alike, be familiar with Agile and Scrum and know what it means to be in a product team. You must be able to ask the right questions to understand the Why’s and ensure we are taking the time to engage with users to continuously innovate our digital
experiences to meet customer expectations & needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Design, HCI, Usability, Research, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ relevant Industry experience in design
