Job Description

Are you a seasoned project manager? Do you want to make a difference and contribute your experience to an organisation going through transformation?  We have an exciting opportunity in the Fulfilment and Logistics team for a Supply Chain Project Manager.

This is a highly visible role where you will have the opportunity to make your mark and showcase your project management skills in delivering transformation projects. The role will require you to be a change champion, working closely with stakeholders throughout the business to deliver key Logistics initiatives.  You will need to have a proven track record of successfully implementing complex or high profile projects.

Here is a snapshot of the skills, experience and qualifications we are looking for:

  • In depth understanding of project life cycle including discovery, project scoping and implementation.
  • A good track record of delivering complex projects
  • Ability to develop and maintain key project deliverables such as project documentation, project budgets, change and stakeholder management
  • Experience in preparing business case or board papers to secure project funding
  • Understanding of the business of retail and the supply chain supporting the core business
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and able to translate analysis into a commercial environment.
  • Effective problem solving and numerical reasoning skills, along with an aptitude for continuous improvement is essential. 
  • Commercial acumen with experience working in a complex environment
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills coupled with effective influencing skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and can relate to team members at all levels of the business.
  • Project management experience – ideally minimum of 3 years
  • Retail / consumer industry experience – ideally minimum of 3 years
  • Logistics / fulfillment industry experience – ideally minimum of 3 years
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • A tertiary level qualification
  • Project Management certification or Agile PM certification.
