What is the role?
As an In-Store Sales Representative, you will be focused on ensuring we exceed our customers’ service expectations, whilst remaining focused on your individual sales targets. We offer awesome products and we know our customers purchase from us because we also offer them expert service.
In this role, you will take responsibility to proactively approach your customers and use your communication skills to build rapport. It’s about the ability to genuinely talk to people about the gear we sell while delivering excellent service to our customers and meeting your individual targets.
Our ideal Bike Sales Assistants will be an active bike rider with proven retail experience, have a desire to learn and grow within the bike industry, and be customer led. Knowledge of our current range and the ability to fit bikes is a bonus. Experience selling outdoor and bike products is obviously an advantage here! Ultimately we need someone with a passion for bikes and an understanding of gear requirement for relevant activities in various environments, customer-centric, mechanical minded and stoked to champion our culture!
We know the gear we sell because we use it: we used to hitting the slopes and know which gear works best. Ideally you will have an in-depth knowledge of winter outdoor gear - Snowboards & Skis, a customer centric attitude, be a sales superstar with experience meeting and exceeding sales targets and a knowledge of our current product range and the ability to tailor solutions to customers’ needs.
In this role, you will take responsibility to proactively approach your customers and use your communication skills to build rapport. It’s about the ability to genuinely talk to people about the gear we sell while delivering excellent service to our customers and meeting your individual targets. We particularly need people that have a strong knowledge or a particular interest in our specialty outdoor clothing brands like Icebreaker and Northface.
