New Zealand's largest daily deal website is looking for their next Junior Electronic Buyer to join their team. It's a close knit passionate team that prepares a variety of products to sell every day, lasting only 24 hours.  Best Products, Best Prices, every day at Midday.  

Reporting to an experienced Buyer and working in a team of like-minded, passionate individuals, this role is key to ensuring business KPIs and strategic objectives are met and delivered. You will assist the Buyer with after sales support, technical knowledge & product sourcing focusing solely on the technology category. 

In this role, you will need to develop a thorough understanding of the category as key responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing products for sale on 1-day with focus on the tech category
• Develop and maintain existing and new supplier relationships including vendor terms
• You will have a good understanding or very willing to learn the required mandatory compliance needs in this category
• Working with category manager on key projects
• Assisting with product descriptions for the web team & graphics

This is a dynamic, fast paced and extremely results driven team, working with all the leading brands to achieve results therefore we are looking for someone who is able to juggle multiple priorities with ease. Due to the specific nature of the role, we are looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of electronic regulations in NZ including all required compliance documentation. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work well independently will stand you in good stead to succeed.
