What you will be doing?

You will be responsible for leading and supervising the Tech Solutions Technicians in your set region ensuring service levels are consistently delivered and targets met.

You will motivate the technicians creating an environment that enables them to perform their roles to the best of their ability, proactively identifying training and skills needs and providing coaching and development opportunities.

In the role of Lead Tech Solutions Specialist, no two days are the same, just as no two call outs are the same.

In the morning you may be setting up a new computer before heading to wall mount a TV and connect an audio system and in the afternoon you could be delivering learning sessions offering training and advice on a variety of gadgets.

You will still be actively involved in the day to day jobs however a large component of this role is driving your team to achieve success.

 

Who we are looking for?

The team are dedicated specialists who will benefit from lead-by-example leadership and positive reinforcement; fit for this role is of upmost importance.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for technology and everything it can do. You will ideally have experience at a team leader level within a retail environment and possess a high level of product knowledge (PC setup, software installation troubleshooting and small to medium network installation).

A customer focused attitude, proven leadership capability and experience in coaching and mentoring a range of personality types are also key.  You will be an effective communicator who is capable of motivating a team to meet KPIs and building relationships at all levels.

A degree of flexibility to work on a 7-day roster with a possibility to work after hours is essential.

As you will also be required to drive a company vehicle, the successful candidate must be a holder of Full NZ driver's licence.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a related discipline or equivalent industry experiential background.

Minimum 2 years experience leading and inspiring a team

Proven customer service experience in a retail environment
