THE ROLE

Torpedo7 Nelson is looking for an experienced part time sales assistant. As a part time sales assistant, you will be focused on ensuring we exceed our customers’ service expectations, whilst remaining focused on your individual sales targets. We offer awesome products and we know our customers purchase from us because we also offer them expert service. 

Our ideal sales assistant will have a passion for outdoor adventure sport and have a desire to learn and grow within the outdoor adventure sport industry. Knowledge of our current range and previous retail experience will be seen as an advantage to any potential candidate. In this role, you will take responsibility to proactively approach your customers and use your communication skills to build rapport. It’s about the ability to genuinely talk to people about the gear we sell, whilst delivering excellent service to our customers and meeting your individual targets.
 

This role involves weekend work, you must be prepared and available to work both Saturday and Sunday. 

WHAT YOU NEED

The successful applicant will have:

• A passion for outdoor adventure sports
• In-depth knowledge of the Torpedo7 product range
• Must have previous retail sales experience
• A customer-centric attitude and live the ‘See You Out There’ culture
• A genuine desire to help people get into the sport but also have the confidence and experience to sell
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A desire to deliver a memorable experience to our customers
• Minimum 1 years previous retail experience
• Ability to work both weekend days
