Our ecommerce platform is one of the most high profile products in the Group. As an intermediate full stack developer you will be contributing to providing a seamless, delightful experience to the many Kiwis who visit and shop on our eCommerce site. 

You'll be working in a cross-functional, agile team contributing to the design, development and implementation of enhancements to the site to ensure The Warehouse Group leads the future of retail in New Zealand and continually delights our customers through the beauty of technology. 

About you:

You've got experience in a full stack development role, specifically with Java and JavaScript and related technologies. You have previously been involved in designing and building scalable, high-availability, efficient application architectures in a cross-functional agile team. We work with the following tech stack and our ideal candidate will have exposure to most, it not all:

• Java and Java related technologies
• Spring (MVC, IoC etc) and Springboot
• JavaScript(ES6 or later)
• HTML5, CSS, SASS and SCSS
• CI/CD (GIT/Maven/Jenkins)
• Automated unit testing (JUnit, Cucumber etc)
• Databases (SQL)

It would also be beneficial (but not essential) if you had exposure to any of the following:

• Vue, React
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in other languages (eg C#)
• Co-located teams
