To help maintain this market leading position, we are on the lookout for a Marketing Planning Manager.


Reporting to the NLG Marketing Manager, the Marketing Planning Manager will manage the daily planning of communication activity across a variety of paid, earned and owned channels including traditional and online for both trade driving activity and brand. You will develop media recommendations and plans consistent with our NLG advertising and marketing strategy and be responsible for negotiating, implementing and executing these plans, conducting post analysis and forward recommendations based on campaign learnings.


We are on the search for a senior candidate with significant experience in high volume marketing and/or advertising production, preferably in a retail or service environment - where customer satisfaction is paramount. There is a heavy media aspect to this position, as you will liaise with Agency Partners to devise media recommendations in order to maximise sales. Therefore the ability to build strong and trusting relationships with external Agency Partners is crucial.

 

You will work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders around the business – including supporting the GM Marketing, Marketing Manager, eCommerce Manager and Marketing Communication Manager's in their roles of consolidating and growing sales and market share. You will provide insights, information and compelling thinking to ensure the approach pursued is robust and competitively sustainable. As the Marketing Planner Manager, you will also provide effective leadership, support and appropriate delegation to the Planner and Planning Executive and proactively develop their progression.

 

Your previous experience in media planning will ensure you possess solid analytical skills, budget management skills, attention to detail and negotiating expertise.  You will have intermediate /advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and demonstrate strong strategic skills and the ability to work quickly to support the tactical requirements of the business.
