We are seeking an accomplished Plaintiff Personal Injury Trial Attorney who is ready to take cases to verdict and maximize results for injured clients throughout New York. This role is designed for a first-chair trial attorney who thrives in the courtroom, embraces challenging litigation, and is passionate about obtaining outstanding outcomes for clients.

Our litigation department is built to support trial lawyers. You will work alongside experienced legal staff, case managers, and litigation support teams so you can focus on what you do best—developing winning case strategies, trying cases, and delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications
What You'll Do
Lead Cases from Filing Through Trial
- Serve as first-chair counsel on plaintiff personal injury cases.
- Develop case strategy and drive litigation through verdict.
- Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
- Prepare and present cases for trial.
Courtroom Advocacy
- Conduct jury selection, opening statements, witness examinations, and closing arguments.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses.
- Appear at court conferences, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
- Argue dispositive and evidentiary motions.
Case Development
- Build compelling liability and damages narratives.
- Work closely with medical experts, accident reconstructionists, economists, and other expert witnesses.
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness outlines, and trial strategy materials.
Client Advocacy
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout litigation.
- Counsel clients regarding case strategy, settlement opportunities, and trial risks.
- Deliver exceptional client service while aggressively pursuing results.

Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Experience independently managing a litigation caseload.
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Exceptional writing, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- First-chair jury trial experience.
- Proven track record of taking cases to verdict.
- Significant plaintiff-side personal injury trial experience.
- Experience handling high-value and catastrophic injury matters.
