You will be involved in a variety of tasks associated with electrical engineering planning, design, and construction projects in the NYC area. The position will be based out of the Port Authority Engineering Offices at 4 World Trade Center.

Responsibilities

Potential work tasks may include assisting with the design and implementation of:

• Building Automation Management and Controls and SCADA systems
• Medium Voltage Substations and Medium and Low Voltage Power Distribution Systems
• Emergency and Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems
• Ductbanks and Electrical Raceways

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of professional electrical engineering design experience
• Experience in the preparation of electrical calculations, including: short circuit current analysis, OPD coordination studies; voltage drop, ampacity, and conduit fill calculations
• Experience in development of contract drawings and technical specifications
• Experience with construction cost estimating
• PE preferred
• Competency in AutoCAD/ Revit/BIM software

The pay range for this salaried role is $100,000/year to $150,000/year.
