The Vermont Country Store holds a rich history with deep roots in Vermont. While we’ve always offered hard-to find products, we also offer easy-to-love careers in a variety of roles. When Vrest Orton opened The Vermont Country Store in 1946, his goal was to offer his customers practical products for everyday use — things that were essential to maintaining their personal wellbeing. Seventy years later, we continue to follow in his footsteps, not only with our customers, but for our employees too. The Vermont Country Store offers a unique work environment in a rural setting for those who enjoy the outdoors and country lifestyle. The Vermont Country Store is excited to be opening its new restaurant this fall, Mildred's Grill. The Grill will be located at The Vermont Country Store's Weston retail location. We are seeking enthusiastic people to join us in providing the high level of dining service we are known for! Our Grill Associates will ensure that the customers' experience is unique and memorable.
