Job Description

Human Resources at the University of Auckland provides a diverse range of services, programmes and advice through a number of key strategic functions across the Service Divisions and Faculties. Our aim is to provide the best possible advice and stakeholder service.
We have an exciting opportunity for a current staff member to join our HR Services Administration team on a permanent basis. The role will be located at 49 Symonds Street with the central HR team.
The HR Administrator role supports HR Services through data entry of student employment agreements, such as Graduate Teaching Agreements, Teaching Assistant Agreements, and casual employment contracts, and completing the end-to-end process, monitoring non-advertised recruitment through the Smart Recruiters system, and supporting all staff through the onboarding processes, following up where required, and responding to inquiries.
The role is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week)
The remuneration is $60,000 - $65,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

About the team | Mō tō mātou rōpū
This role reports to the HR Services Manager and there will be 2 HR Administrators supporting its function. You will be working alongside the wider HR Services team (HR Services Coordinators, HR-IT and Payroll), this team acts as the first point of contact for many HR related queries.
This is a big, diverse and friendly team, who have created a great culture of supporting each other, providing excellent customer service and celebrating their team.

• Excellent Customer Service
• Proficient in the MS Suite of packages and comfortable using a range of systems eg: SmartRecruiter/Workday/Oracle or similar CRM/ATS or onboarding systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy regarding data entry
• Organizing and planning skills to meet high-volume processing requirements and meet tight deadlines.
• Meeting compliance with University Policy and current legislation
• Facilitate training of staff on HR Systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
