Job Description

To meet short-term staffing needs, the University is seeking to employ a casual staff member. Hours will be changeable as agreed with the line manager of the role.

We are currently seeking an Enrolment Officer to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term contract from June 2020 to the end of January 2021.  

As a  successful candidate, you will ensure that the enrolment and academic progress records are relevant and up to date.  You will comfortable at relationship building with various stakeholders in order to build capability and excellence in managing the student record function across the University.

Key Accountabilities include :

  • Enrolment Management and Maintenance of Late Deletion and Suspension Applications
  • Enrolment Management and Maintenance of Academic Standing, PERC, AELR, Academic Integrity and other enrolment related processes
  • Manage and Maintain Scheduled Communications
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Customer Service Advice
  • Business Support/Administration

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will bring the following:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or experience in working with high volume transactional processing, creating and running queries, scheduling batch jobs and monitoring and checking exception reports.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the University’s academic requirements, processes and procedures for enrolment and records functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Commitment to excellence in service provision, and to promoting, supporting and developing a culture of processes for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in solving problems in a team and organisational environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the academic requirements, processes and procedures for enrolment and records processes.Ability to confidently deliver workshops to large groups of people.
