We are looking for someone experienced in Communications and Marketing to join the Equity Office team.   

The Role 

Reporting to the Equity Office Director of Resources, your primary responsibility will be to initiate, develop and deliver communications for a wide range of Equity Office work.

The role will involve developing equity materials that communicate the range of information and support available at the university and promoting equity policies, programmes, achievements, resources and support available for Māori and equity groups including students and staff.  Communicating and liaising with key stakeholders such as colleagues in the equity office and central Communications and Marketing will be an essential part of the role.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

You will be a superb writer with proven experience working in a similar organisation and the ability to communicate successfully with a diverse range of different stakeholder groups. You will have experience with web content management systems and other digital platforms. Along with this you will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised with a commitment to achieving aspirational equity goals.

Having a genuine interest in diversity and inclusion along with student wellbeing would help you to be successful in this role.
