Job Description

We seek to appoint a Professional Teaching Fellow to support the development, delivery and evaluation of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of clinical pharmacy practice, and contribute to the evaluation of teaching and learning within the School with a focus on continuous quality improvements.

As a high-calibre academic pharmacist with clinical pharmacology and/or clinical pharmacy teaching experience, you will work closely with the Academic Director and integrated modules lead to deliver an innovative, responsive curriculum that produces graduates who are equipped with clinical reasoning and applied pharmacology skills that will improve outcomes for their patients.

Skills and experience

  • The successful applicant will have a registered pharmacist in New Zealand, and postgraduate training in clinical pharmacy.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of contemporary clinical pharmacy practice, including the emerging professional roles of practising pharmacists.
  • You will be experienced teaching undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy and/or other healthcare students.
  • Ideally, you will have the ability to develop the content of your teaching curriculum and /or curriculum design, in collaboration with a research-active academic.
