Job Description

A great opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to act as committee secretary for all faculty committee meetings supporting the Associate Deans and Deputy Dean.

Working as part of the Faculty administration team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organising meetings
  • Coordinating agendas and taking minutes
  • Preparing and formatting documents/reports
  • Responding to queries
  • Written correspondence
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • organising catering
  • Filing and photo-copying
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Fielding and transferring phone calls
  • Monitoring departmental Outlook inbox

About you:

As the Faculty Administrator you will be self-motivated, driven and a diligent professional. 

Skills and experience:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A meticulous attention to detail and is highly organised, with the ability to manage competing demands, multitask and thrive in a truly dynamic environment
  • You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to act with discretion, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Well-developed organisational and detail-oriented skills with a professional focus on achieving goals
  • Ensure actions support delivery of the service promised and at all times demonstrate excellent customer service
  • At least two years proven experience in the above areas and the ability to hit the ground running on their first day
