Overview:
Due to exceptional growth, we are recruiting a new highly experienced Heating Installer / Engineer to bolster the Installations team. Even in these times, we are business as usual to provide service excellence to our customers. All interviews, onboarding, training, reviews, and meetings will be conducted remotely.
I am currently working with one of the fastest growing, dynamic, ethical, environmentally caring, non-corporate companies in Southampton. Genuinely the nicest bunch of people and opportunity.

The role:
The new Heating Engineer will operate as an installation expert, natural leader and proactive problem solver to support our exciting field operation:
You should possess:
Heat Pump installation experience would be preferred but not a must as training will be provided
Experience of installing and servicing gas or oil boilers
A firm understanding of industry governance and compliance
Competent IT skills
A current full UK driving license is required as you will be required to work across changing geographical areas
You will:
Be capable of developing and personally delivering a first-class customer experience
Demonstrate leading technical capability and experience in your area of work as an installations expert
Prioritise safety and adherence to technical procedures
Be capable of working efficiently with an understanding of financial drivers in decision making
Building and maintaining exceptional working relationship with your support teams
Show innovation in installation practice, always improving ways of working
As a proactive problem solver you’ll demonstrate a 'can do’ attitude and always look to find solutions
Be capable of delivering a project on time and on budget
Being flexible and able to react quickly and positively to change
Potential to develop a team technically and personally with a positive mentality to help them achieve optimum performance
Conducting local assessments of work to monitor and embed safe working practices and adherence to technical procedures
Building and maintaining exceptional working relationship with your support teams to ensure efficient management of installations
Lead with a mentoring approach to supporting team members to achieve local technical excellence standards following formal training
Find new ways to achieve best practice, then share proactively to promote high efficiency and outstanding customer experience within the whole operation
Collaborating with teams to ensure a consistent customer experience true to our values
Being flexible and open to change
Lead local area meetings, taking ownership and being accountable for delivery of key business messages
Whilst this role is posted as Fleet, it is a regional role with the HQ being based in Southampton.
