The Tile Shop is now hiring in their Distribution Center for a Production Assembler 1.

Producing high quality display boards for The Tile Shop retail showrooms.

Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Convey boards or materials from production areas to designated areas.
  • Mix the required grout type and color as directed or per board production sheet.
  • Apply grout to tile joints using floats or other tools.
  • Remove excess grout from boards using damp sponges and other materials.
  • Lift, move, sort, carry or place finished boards in/out of rolling carts.
  • Apply labels to boards as directed or per board production sheet.
  • Use industrial equipment such as sit-down forklift, pallet jack, rolling carts, etc.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to material type.
  • Uses warehouse management and RF system to pick and pack boards.
  • Able to secure boards for shipping to avoid damage.
  • Ability to inspect, use and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Lift, move, sort, carry or place materials and items onto/off of pallets or crates.
  • Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.
  • Responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work in other departments as needed

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one related previous employment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to lift from floor to waist up to and including 50lbs, able to lift from floor to overhead up to 15 lbs., lift and carry 25 lbs. for 25 feet and occasionally move 50-100 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is required to walk; sit; balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
