JOIN OUR TEAM!!! The Tile Shop is looking to bring on an experienced and passionate HR Generalist to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coaching/Partnership with Leadership across the whole company:

• Individual Development Plans
• Notice of Corrective Actions
• Performance Reviews
• Employee Issues
• Terminations – in partnership with Regionals and store manager
• Ongoing coaching and mentoring of leaders

Company Training (leadership and employees):

• Sexual Harassment
• Harassment
• Discrimination
• Other compliance and HR-related training

Gather data for employment issues to support the resolution of employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed while in compliance with all company policies and employment laws under the direction of the Director and/or VP of HR.

• Support unemployment claims, which we are challenging.
• Support compliance research.
• Review applicable promotion inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service for our employees and others.
• Review rehire inquiries.
• Process requests for employee documents.
• Additional projects under the direction of management.
• Act as a back-up to other processes within the department as applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Strong in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Good data entry speed and efficiency.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 plus years of human resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required
• Experience with employee relations and employment issues.
• Experience with training.
• Experience with training on HR employment related topics, preferred.
• Ability to work with confidential information is essential.
