The Tile Shop Distribution Center is now hiring for a Customer Service and Transportation Coordinator. The Customer Service and Transportation Coordinator will coordinate various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations and shipping services are executed accurately and in a timely manner. The Customer Service and Transportation Coordinator also coordinates personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of product by using clear and professional communication.

• Be the first point of contact for all who enter distribution center by providing excellent customer service and greeting all customers, drivers and sales staff
• Arrange, monitor, and communicate transportation of goods
• Communicate effectively and frequently with truckload carriers and our staff
• React to changes productively and handle tasks assigned in a timely manner
• Provide office and clerical support to assist with the efficient operation of the distribution center
• Utilize Help Desk and warehouse management system (SAP) to print pick slips and BOLs
• Maintain an orderly filing system for drivers and carriers
• Update schedules as needed
• Stay up to date of new information, ideas, and techniques
• Communicate with other departments regarding the following days scheduled line up when necessary
• Communicate with our staff on delivery ETAs and pick-ups
• Monitor help desk tickets for the distribution center and troubleshoot issues with leadership or the store manager
• Call stores to resolve issues with tickets and pickups
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous administrative assistance or shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Strong communication skills face to face, email and over the phone
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills
• SAP experience or experience with a shipping/receiving system preferred
