Job Description
The Telegraph is looking for Front End Software Engineer to work on our digital commercial portfolio.
Our Engineering principles are based on BUILD it, RUN it, OWN it. This means you’ll have full ownership and responsibility with your team of how you build, run and maintain your solutions.
You’ll be well versed in using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Above all, you’ll want to make The Telegraph better, which may sometimes involve challenging the status quo. The role has excellent career development opportunities, both in technical and wider professional growth

Qualifications
Working closely with business stakeholders and designers to define features to support the business goals and building these new user-facing features and user journeys
Understanding the Telegraph architectures and 3rd party integrations in order to work collaboratively to design, build and maintain performant solutions.
Ensuring a globally robust and highly scalable approach to development to support our growing number of global users and services.
Caring passionately about the success of the business and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
Constantly seeking ways to improve the platform and the Team’s processes and ensuring these best practices are shared across the wider technology Team.
Being an active member of the Telegraph Engineering Team, contributing to the vibrant culture and promoting the Telegraph Engineering brand through public channels such as open source community, blogs and meetups.
Keeping up to date with the latest technology innovations in media, cloud and software development, using proof of concepts to demonstrate their Business value and appropriate use.
