Job Description

Strategic Value of Role: 

Do you have a knack for social media, someone who gets the job done, and an affinity for customer obsession? As a social media coordinator at The Start Smart, you are responsible for the strategic execution of the group’s social media strategy. You report to our marketing lead and work closely with our inhouse content team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact and collaborate with social media channels of our prospects and partners to create a digital relationships

  • Create and write eye catching copy to balance our position of a startup in a new industry

  • Scheduling social media and website content and ensure we have updated daily content as per calendar

  • Calendar management of content of all platforms & working alongside content teams to ensure readiness to be posted

  • Monitor engagement of content and social media platforms to ensure that our brand, our people and consumers are engaging with our content

  • Weekly reporting and tracking of content and platform performance

  • Support growth of social media platforms through innovative ideas and execution of engagement tactics & content strategy

  • Finalise and create informative and engaging content to support the content team

  • Work alongside and coordinate with key stakeholders in a wider team to marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role

  • Proficiency working with social media platforms and content management systems

  • Strategic and creative experience in identifying target audience and creating social media campaigns that engage, inform and motivate customers

  • Advanced degrees advantageous, as a startup the right person will play an immediate impact and have a direct pathway to becoming a lead within the business

Expected Remuneration: Associate Salary + Pre rounds Stock Options + Uncapped Commisions + Annual Bonus
