As the Resident Services Coordinator Assistant for our Footsteps Memory Care Program, you will support our RSC's by assisting with supervising Caregiving and Med Tech staff, ensure Health Services employees are properly informed of changes in care, scheduling of appointments with physicians, and other services for those we serve, and building relationships with residents and families.

As an Assistant Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) in our community, you will function as a support point of contact for residents, families, and staff in regard to care needs. The Assistant RSC must be an excellent leader and communicator as we work as a team. You will work closely with our Health Services Administrator, Director of Health Services (RN), LPN's, and our Resident Services Coordinators to ensure accuracy of care for our treasured residents.

Other responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with care plan creations and updates.
  • PointClickCare (PCC) Auditing
  • Assisting with schedule planning/building
  • Build strong trusting relationships with families, residents, and employees.
  • On-call responsibilities - working as a Med Tech or Caregiver at times in the event of call outs and coverage is unavailable. Carry the staffing phone in rotation with the Heath Services Managers.

  • 2-4 years' experience in leadership roles, or RSC experience
  • This position is ideal for a person with blended experience in the medical arena and social work with seniors.
  • Previous experience in senior housing is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in memory care and in staff development.
  • The ideal candidate has strong demonstrated leadership skills, compassion, organization, and warmth with a background in dementia care. We offer support, camaraderie, and an excellent working environment.
