Job Description

This is a job for people who like having fun and CREATING fun! We are looking for a cheerful, optimistic, organized, and motivated person who loves to enrich the lives of seniors. This position is specifically responsible for implementing meaningful and appropriate activities for our residents. Necessary characteristics and skills for this position include: natural hospitality instincts, hard work ethic, sense of urgency, work schedule given, ability to take direction, ability to multitask, presenting a professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, excellent verbal communications abilities, high standard of ethics and integrity, and creativity in carrying out community activities.  This position involves residents in outings to restaurants and music venues alongside supporting activities like crafts, bingo, games, picnics, BBQ, and birthday  parties, to name a few. Wanna learn how to drive a 24 passenger bus?  We'll teach you!

There will be some evening work but the hours will usually fall during regular business hours, Sunday - Thursday. A set schedule will be arranged.

This position is for an independent worker who will take the lead in encouraging resident participation and have sensitivity to the resident's individual needs, as well as be a team player who loves to collaborate. Flexibility is key in this position.  We are looking for that perfect candidate who can bring energy and excitement to not only our residents but to our coworkers. This is a highly physical job which involves much movement, lifting, serving meals, and general activity.





  • Previous experience in senior housing especially working with cognitively or memory challenged seniors is preferred 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Publisher a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
