Job Description

The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis support on new developments, expansions, and acquisitions. The key objective is to deliver on the company's strategic growth plan by evaluating and processing new deal flow in a scalable, sustainable, and professional manner while leveraging internal and external resources.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support the Development Director and Development Team in accurately evaluating, underwriting, and closing new development opportunities
  • Provide transactional support for closing land purchases, acquisitions, and financing
  • Help position the company’s development function as a best-in-class developer in senior housing through process improvement, historical analysis, and organizational innovation
  • Support the production of accurate and reliable management and investor reporting


  • Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in real estate, finance, or economics 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in commercial real estate investments or underwriting
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including detailed discounted cash flow analysis utilizing Excel or a similar program
  • Demonstrated ability to create and utilize complex financial models and analyze various capital structures
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals, valuations, and risk factors
  •  Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple projects at once with varying deadlines
