The Springs Living is seeking a Sous Chef for our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community in Eugene, Oregon. This state of the art, beautifully designed community will include 216 wonderful homes, both apartments and cottages, and include a variety of amenities including restaurant-style dining, a pool and spa, aquaponics gardening, and more.

Our ideal Sous Chef will have the perfect blend of personal warmth, culinary talent, and professional cooking skills for our full-service kitchen. In our effort to provide dynamic and excellent customer service to our residents and families, we recognize that high quality food and dining service is a top priority. The Sous Chef is responsible to work hand in hand with our Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to support the dining team in a professional manner, as well as set a superior example in culinary skills.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience supervising in a professional kitchen
  • Love for seniors and willingness to learn
  • A pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check are required at the time of job offer
