Red Hotels are the owners of Bedruthan and The Scarlet. The two hotels are on the same hillside in the coastal village of Mawgan Porth, Cornwall. We are not just simple hotels, each of our properties has a distinctive identity and does something far from the norm.

Do you have a passion for all things wine related and a genuine desire to deliver a wonderful guest experience?

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in wines, self-motivated with a flexible attitude and has fantastic communication skills. You will be kind, caring and someone who enjoys creating long lasting memories for our guests.

As part of the bar team, you will be responsible for:

• Creating drinks that you are proud to serve
• Offering specialist knowledge on our drink’s menus and pairing food menus daily
• Enhancing our guest experience with food and drink
• Barista coffee - hot drinks are also important
• Maintaining and operating our well-oiled bar
• Wine service in 2 Rosette restaurants
• Promote and drive beverage sales across business
• Cellar / stock management

• An interest in learning about wines 
• Good communication and selling skills
• A strong commitment to guest service
