Job Description

Red Hotels can offer staff accommodation (subject to availability).

This position, within our Front of House Team, is crucial to delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests and assists in maintaining a safe, secure and clean environment overnight. 

The role requires the ability to communicate confidently with our guests and other staff, so excellent English verbal and written skills are essential as well as a cheerful and outgoing nature.                  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Late check ins and early check outs
  • Bill queries, answering telephones and assisting guests
  • Room service deliveries and running trays
  • Banking
  • Overnight security
  • Cleanliness of Hotel
  • Health and safety checks
  • First aid

Qualifications

An understanding of health and safety as well as the ability to keep calm in a crisis is important. Basic computer skills and accurate numeracy are required along with honesty and good judgement.

You will need to be physically capable to patrol the hotel and its grounds which are built into a steep hillside.  Nightly cleaning and tidying throughout the hotel are also part of this role.
