Job Description

You will be a motivated food and beverage expert, someone who is naturally comfortable in busy operations, able to accommodate the needs of our guests whilst delivering an exceptionally focused experience at the Scarlet and Bedruthan.  An office should not be where you feel comfortable, as we want our teams to have the full support of the food and beverage manager, and, is always available to speak with our guests.

As food and beverage manager you should execute a clear, consistent and adaptable operating plan that values each individual’s contribution.  Taking 3 dining venues, 2 bars, room service, and events vision across both of our Hotels and elevating this to a new level of service culture and excitement.

Responsibilities:                             

  • Directly responsible for managing our food services managers, beverage manager, team leaders and waiting staff
  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest of standards
  • Leading the team with a hands-on approach
  • Working alongside our Kitchens to ensure our guests have a memorable experience whilst dinning in any 3 of our restaurants
  • Ensuring your team are trained and ready to deliver a friendly, relaxed yet exceptional guest welcome 
  • Being present in our restaurants and preserve excellent levels of guest service
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  • Overseas sales and costs to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • 3 years previous F&B management experience as head of department, or, 2+ years deputy F&B multisite manager
  • Recognised F&B Service qualifications
  • Proven experience in using information and technology
  • Demonstrable ability to lead by example
  • Friendly, credible yet assertive manner
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to self-direct workload Ability to manage at multiple levels

Additional Information

We offer:

  • £33,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Permanent contract of 42 hours per week
