Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join Taylor Root’s highly successful in-house legal team, within the Financial Services and Banking division, headed up by Nikki Newton. You will work with an impressive portfolio of clients including companies within retail and investment banking, fintech, private equity, insurance and professional services.
The Role
Independently manages the full recruitment cycle
Uses a variety of different sourcing platforms and attraction strategies to identify the best candidates in the market
Builds networks of active and passive candidates relevant to their market
Develops new clients to win business
Proactively builds on sector/market expertise
Running and contributing to client meetings or job briefings
Developing strong relationships with clients to effectively represent the client’s brand
Proactively seeks out new business development opportunities and approaching potential candidates and clients
Confidently sells the benefits of working with Taylor Root and offers suitable client solutions
Confidently communicates Taylor Root’s Terms of Business and negotiates favourable terms
Qualifications
- Ideally a background or an interest in law. You don’t need to be a qualified lawyer but a lot of our consultants have legal backgrounds which helps with relating to clients and candidates
A “go getter” – someone who is prepared to business development and help develop the client base
Naturally credible, articulate and confident
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
A goal-orientated approach to work with the ability to take a long-term view
