Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

  • The role is both UK and Internationally-facing
  • Provide 360-degree management of company bids and proposal activity, including content drafting, formatting and outcome tracking/reporting
  • Support the alignment of the bid process with corporate strategy at local and group level
  • Continually enrich the bid information library as a key resource for both team and wider company use

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of proactive/reactive bid and proposal opportunities with existing and prospective clients across all brands and all international locations
  • Work with stakeholders across all business areas to ensure a collaborative bid
  • Compile relevant technical, operational and pricing information, drawing on the expertise of stakeholders across the Group
  • Formal bid writing (e.g. PQQ, RFI, RFP, ITT) and presentation building as required, to a high standard, following brand guidelines and to defined quality/time benchmarks
  • Help to maintain opportunity tracking/reporting systems to include win/loss metrics, e.g. updating of Bid Tracker data
  • Ensure bid progress is communicated to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that the bid response library is maintained to a high standard
  • Maintaining excellent internal relationships (Fee Earners, Finance, IT etc) – understanding who to go to in order to gather relevant information and ensuring that good relations are kept with key individuals

Qualifications

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year’s bid experience (desirable), preferably within the recruitment/professional services sector
  • Able to write high-calibre creative/commercial proposals
  • Understand bid best practice and the end-to-end bid cycle
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office products (in particular Word and PowerPoint)

  • Proactive and persuasive, comfortable in dealing with senior stakeholders across all business functions and willing to ‘push back’ when required
  • Demonstrate a wide variety of communication skills – writes, speaks and presents clearly and professionally

  • Demonstrates excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
